Father Bishoy William had an MD degree in 1979, followed by:
- Masters in General Surgery in 1983
- Degree of Diplomat in Cryosurgery in 1990
- Degree in Psychology in the USA in 2001
- Practiced medicine here in San Vincent Hospital
- Was ordained as priest in El Giza in March 1992
- Came to Colorado as a priest in 1994; then to California in 2001
